But, his range of passing does create space up at the top of the penalty area where someone should be able to run in from midfield. It seemed at times against Swansea that he was also the most likely candidate to get into this space because it would be better to have Lucas holding in case of a counter. Adam did cover a lot of ground in the match so I have to wonder, given his fitness level, was he asked to do too much in that match? That is, was he asked to sit deep, hit passes, and also fill that space atop the eighteen? Maybe this is a long-winded way to agree with all your comments about needing to keep him in a midfield three.

TimCAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33779660.post-17173704690764966352011-11-11T09:13:44.979-05:002011-11-11T09:13:44.979-05:00Yes Adam creates chances and it's what we boug...Yes Adam creates chances and it's what we bought him for. But I have to say I'm not the biggest fan because I'm in the view that his negatives outweigh his positives, especially in the light of seeing Spearing play in his role and the team, I think, playing better as a hole. I feel like when Adam plays, some of his passes and assists are sublime, but I see him get caught too far up-field or just standing by as a player rushes by him, hashing tackles, getting tangled up with Downing and Enrique and just being too unfit in general for me to feel like he deserves a start week in week out.

But I will say this; if Kenny believes in him and is playing him, there's got to be a reason and as someone who doesn't play football and doesn't have football knowledge, I will support Adam in the Liverpool FC team. Doesn't mean I like it, but I'm support Kenny's choice because I have faith that Kenny's doing good for LFC.KCnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33779660.post-85241291413365704502011-11-10T18:27:50.357-05:002011-11-10T18:27:50.357-05:00What Andrew said.
