As always.
Amazing the number o...Great stuff Nate. As always.

Amazing the number of formations we've used this season. Many games we've had 12 guys (maybe 13) to choose from beyond which the quality drops off markedly. BR has gotten the best from the guys available any match. Formations, tactics and setting up the side based on the opposition.

Mig's drop down fingertip reaction save on Rodriguez's shot in the 43rd minute was huge. Can't be overstated. Maintained our slim advantage into the half.

Look at that passing sequence from the chart of the second goal. I have the game on video and just watched the goal again. Jonno deserves special mention on the pass over to Flanno. He was moving with the ball on the left wing, took a touch too far, was about to lose the ball, and slid in to get his toe on it and move it 40 yards over to Flanno. Flanno, Gerrard, Suarez, spin and dribble, look up, soft square ball over to Raheem, BANG!, 2 - nil. You just never know when that extra half ounce of effort, that 40% on top of the 90% as BR might say, is going to result in a game changing result.

Certainly hope that Dagger and Jonno continue to move on to top form and fitness with game time.

United on the 16th. Another massive 3 points. United will be up for the game considering it's us. Never mind that this match and the Olympiakos match 3 days later may afford Moysie a slim chance to resurrect a smidgeon of his shattered reputation. Seems like nothing he says or does has the power to get United up for a match. The one thing that does have the potential to get them truly up for the match is the fawning, smarmy, obsequious, flattering press that we have been getting lately. The one game they really got up for was that home Arsenal match. The press was all over Arsenal after that Dortmund away win and Ramsey goal. United crushed them with their energy and pressing. They could not even get out of the blocks. Just physically hammered them. All day long. We have to be ready to go hammer and tongs right from the get go. Take no prisoners. We first need all our guys to return in good shape from the International break. Praying to Fowler.
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33779660.post-45040304231438533542014-03-03T19:01:31.418-05:002014-03-03T19:01:31.418-05:00great readgreat readAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33779660.post-26030367611440648472014-03-03T11:31:29.914-05:002014-03-03T11:31:29.914-05:00You got a shout out at TIA:
