It would be interesting to see this same chart, but with a before LFC column as well. But that might make Andy look as bad as Nando... so maybe not.

Carroll's scored 8 in 41 for Liverpool, just under 0.20 goals per game. In all appearances for Newcastle and Preston (12 games on loan), he scored 34 in 103, an average of 0.33 goals per game. However, it's worth noting that 17 of those goals and 39 of those appearances (0.43 GPG) came during Newcastle's season in the Championship.

It's worse, unsurprisingly, but not Torres, Owen, Fowler worse. And he's got a fair bit of time to improve his Liverpool record.

Also, before column wouldn't work for Owen and Fowler, but if you're interested, Torres scored 91 in 243 for Atletico (0.37 GPG); Crouch scored 47 in 177 for QPR, Pompey, Villa, Norwich, and Southampton (0.27 GPG; Dulwich Hamlet and IFK Hassleholm not included); and Heskey scored 46 in 197 for Leicester (0.23 GPG). So all three improved their scoring rate at Liverpool.

I'm tempted to make a similar graph of my ex-girlfriends' happiness pre- and post-breaking up with me but the results might be too painful for them to hear
